Robert Rackley MSc MIACP Autism & ADHD Specialist Psychotherapist | Neurodiversity Advocate | CPD-Accredited Trainer | Researcher Robert Rackley is an accredited psychotherapist based in Limerick, Ireland, specialising in Autism, ADHD, and neurodivergent mental health. He combines clinical expertise with lived experience as a late-diagnosed adult with combined-type ADHD to deliver affirming, practical, and inclusive support to clients and professionals alike. He holds a Master’s in Autism and Neurodiversity from the National School of Psychology and Counselling (NSPC) in London. His original qualitative research explored why ADHD symptoms often go unnoticed by mental health professionals, highlighting diagnostic gaps and systemic barriers. This work forms the foundation of his CPD-accredited training course, Understanding Neurodivergence in Therapy. Robert has delivered training and consultation for national organisations including Pieta House, and Resilience Healthcare. His clinical practice is accredited by the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and is accredited as Autism Friendly by AsIAm. He specialises in supporting neurodivergent clients with sensory processing differences, executive dysfunction, RSD, masking fatigue, and co-occurring anxiety, depression or trauma. As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent adult himself, Robert blends clinical insight with personal understanding to help dismantle deficit-based models and build truly neurodivergent-affirming practice. His work spans one-to-one therapy, organisational training, public speaking, and research-based advocacy. In this course, Robert co-develops the therapeutic modules, drawing from thousands of hours of lived and clinical experience to equip professionals with practical, affirming strategies to support neurodivergent individuals across therapy, family life, and education. www.robertrackley.ie
