CPD Courses

I was very pressed for time to complete a CPD activity before the deadline. I found the course informative and insightful. Easy to read material and very relevant to my area of practice.

Meeting CPD requirements — and going beyond them

Many professionals have specifically asked for Ethics CPD aligned with South African requirements. Previously, this was not always possible through internationally accredited courses.

You can now access a dedicated set of HPCSA-aligned Ethics short courses, designed to help you meet these requirements efficiently, with CPD points submitted on your behalf.

At the same time, our comprehensive courses remain a valuable option for those looking for in-depth, practical learning that goes beyond minimum CPD requirements. These courses offer broader application, deeper understanding, and significantly more content per programme.

New: Ethics CPD for South African Practitioners

We now offer 5 HPCSA-aligned Ethics courses, developed specifically to meet local professional requirements.

Most professionals complete Ethics CPD every year

FAQ:

1. Are CPD, CEU, and Hours the Same?

Yes—CPD (Continuing Professional Development), CEU (Continuing Education Unit), and training hours all refer to the same concept: structured learning activities undertaken to maintain and develop professional skills. Different countries and professional bodies simply use different terms. For example, “CPD” is commonly used in the UK and South Africa, while “CEU” is preferred in the United States. Some organisations count learning in “hours” instead of units.

Regardless of terminology, 1 CPD = 1 CEU = 1 hour of accredited learning, so they are fully equivalent. All our courses provide clear documentation stating the hours completed so you can submit proof to your relevant registration or licensing body.
